EyeonSite ‘shop the look for interior’

foto

Since a few months I haven’t really put much attention to Trend Forecast, I am sorry for that. It was mostly because I started my own webshop with a new concept in mind. As you can see I love strong visual images that really capture the attention. I see those beautiful styled images everywhere on blogs, pinterest, instagram and so on. But the thing is I was always frustrated that you are not able to buy the products as seen on the picture. Therefore I wanted to launch a webshop (http://www.eyeonsite.nl) for interior products whereby you can shop all the accessories you see on the picture. Because I believe that when you show people a self-made picture where you give them the opportunity to buy the style it makes it authentic and personal. The styling concepts will be renewed every three months. So that everyone will be able to find the style that fits to their home. For now I am only supplying to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany but if you send me an email (info@eyeonsite.nl) with a request it must be possible to send it to other places as well. Please keep me posted on whether you like the styles and/or you have ideas for the next season.

The Route of Cliche

Instagram can be a place that’s not only about selfies and what people had for dinner. Take for example what French art director, Thomas Jullien, did with 852 different photos from 852 different Instagram users. He created a crowdsourced short-film about stitched together Instagram clichés

Human Nature

Human Nature

The two trendprognoses in this book for 2017 are brought together in the theme ‘Human Nature’. The Human Nature is changing in different directions; Human nature is evolving and Human nature is to sometimes be a rebel.

First there will be a technology outburst, people want to start using what is possible these days. The differentiation between people and computers will disappear. People will become part of technology and vice versa.

Secondly the crisis has learned us a lot about sustainability and how to use the old craftsmanship techniques to make luxury goods yourself. But now people want to kick against this sensible way of thinking. We want to consume and show our wealth. It is in the little things. You cannot keep someone from eating oysters when they are in their reach.
